Dear Registered Voter,
I, Ditas Yamane, Councilmember, Businesswoman, and Mother, am running for re-election as Councilmember of District 3 in National City.
As a longtime resident, I understand our issues and concerns about public safety, housing, homelessness, and business assistance programs in our district.
I care deeply about our community and have made a positive impact by working to secure grant funds to improve El Toyon Park, cleaning up a blighted corner and building The Filipino Plaza, creating a conservation garden, adding more street lights, and implementing safer walkways for all of us to enjoy.
It’s my goal to see our families enjoying our parks and playgrounds, taking advantage of the programs and resources our city has to offer, and feeling proud to call this community home.
As the Chair of the Governing Board of Sweetwater Authority, I continue to advocate for providing safe, reliable water at the lowest rates in San Diego County! As Vice-Chair of San Diego Community Power, I am focused on what matters most to you: affordable, reliable energy from renewable sources. I am also the CEO of my own
real estate agency. It’s my priority to listen to your concerns, learn to understand them and work to find solutions with meaningful action.
Together, we’ll build a community that is safe, welcoming, and united, a place where families thrive, neighbors support one another, and everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
